Bah
It’s always awkward when you see your ex is happy in a new relationship, even if you don’t like her (or him) anymore. I mean, I know my ex is absolutely wrong for me, but for some reason it still bothers me. Oh well. That’s life.

I need a new job...
I’ve only had my current job for a little over a month, but I’m becoming so depressed with it. I’m doing something I enjoy doing (writing), but the actual work itself isn’t something I want to be doing, mainly because it’s so meaningless. I work so hard, but at the end of the day I feel like I haven’t accomplished much, which is a very depressing realization. ...

sinidentidades: A group of Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives proposed this week a bill that would raise the nation’s minimum wage from $7.25 to $10 per hour, which they say will help consumer purchasing power catch up to the rate of inflation since the late 1960s. It’s primary sponsor, Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-IL), is even calling the bill “The Catching Up to 1968 Act.”...

Just got back from Prometheus...
So I took everyone’s advice and went to see Prometheus, and I didn’t regret it at all. Completely loved it — it was fantastic. As a big fan of the original Alien, I think it’s a worthy prequel, even if it is an indirect prequel.  Really don’t understand the hate it’s getting. Like, at all.

Prometheus
I’ve seen a lot of negative reactions for Prometheus, so I can’t decide if I want to see it now or wait until it hits Blu-ray. I’d been looking forward to this film for a long, long time, but now I’m just bracing for disappointment. Anyone out there want to give me your suggestions?
